THORNTON, CO, UNITED STATES, August 27, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Haunted Field of Screams, Colorado's largest haunted attraction located on McKay Road in Thornton, Colorado, is entering its 26th season, marking one of the longest continuously running haunted attractions in the state.

Since opening in 2001, the attraction has grown into a 40-acre cornfield experience built fresh each year along Riverdale Road, an 11-mile stretch long rumored among Colorado ghost lore enthusiasts to be the state's most haunted road.

The 2026 season carries the attraction's signature storyline, "A Ride to the Riverdale Gates of Hell," through multiple haunted houses, a wooded chase sequence, and more, giving returning guests new ground to cover.

The Haunted Field of Screams is not recommended for children. Guests 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult, and the attraction does not offer refunds.
